Unable to  authenticate FTP to IPv4 address on Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
We are having an issue with a few Windows 2008 R2 servers where IIS FTP is authenticating user accounts only to clients who resolve and connect to the server via its IPv6 address. However if a client resolves and connects to its IPv4 Address, we get authentication failed for those exact same accounts. We have tried multiple things to resolve this including completely disabling IPv6 on the server, or forceing the Binding in IIS to the specific IPv4 address. However when we do authentication just fails completely. Has anyone seen an issue like this? any help would be appreciated.
